Post Carbon Professionals

Our program is focused on helping you become a 'post carbon professional' by helping you apply permaculture principles and practices to the sustainability challenges of peak oil, climate change and other limits to growth. Training you to help communities transition to a lower carbon, sustainable future is our main goal. Our approach combines traditional training in hands on permaculture skills and design techniques with the latest in community development and project management. We focus on these post carbon strategies:

  • Community Sustainability Initiatives
  • Food Security

Our Approach- Putting it all Together

Permaculture is a linking discipline based on understanding the natural patterns and principles for integrating many and different parts into healthy wholes. Our approach is to give you a new perspective in sustainability allowing you to create the patterns that connect the many and varied approaches and strategies found in sustainability work today. We have now entered the era of post carbon transition, and permaculture professionals will have a big opportunity to participate in putting it all together for a truly sustainable future.
