Nature of the Program

The Permaforest Trust APT training program is designed to take full advantage of the benefits of Competency Based Learning. Knowledge Based Training is calculated to provide the theoretical basis for Competencies, providing the underpinning knowledge needed to gain real skills and abilities. Activity Based Training, Skills Based Training and Project Work combine to give students the opportunity to build theory into demonstratable skills and competencies.
