"Having completed study at The Permaforest Trust I landed on my feet in a rather corporate position, as a Category Manager within a large Horticultural organisation. This role has given me the responsibility for buying green-life products (plants, garden tools & garden care accessories) for distribution to national retail nursery outlets.

The information I received at The Trust was invaluable for discerning environmentally-sound products and opting for more organic alternatives. The Permaculture Certificate gave me a strong awareness to environmental "limits" and offered realistic alternatives to traditional gardening practices, which I now hope to implement in the workplace. I'm happy to see a growing awareness in the Horticultural industry towards sustainable practice, and a strong move towards organics & home vegetable growing."
