"I'm from Adelaide, South Australia.  I studied at the Permaforest Trust  from July - Dec 2004.  Before that I'd spent 2 years  Wwoofing whilst cycle touring around New Zealand, Scotland, New South Wales and South Australia.  Staying at lots of Permaculture farms and intentional communities, including the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland.

I did a COW & CALF in July 2004 and figured that if I wanted to teach Accredited Permaculture Training (APT), I should study it first! Studying at the Trust improved my skills and confidence as a Designer and Teacher.  It has also expanded my networks within the Permaculture Community.

I have been running a Permaculture Design and Education business in Adelaide for a year, doing Designs for private clients, advising schools on establishing Gardening Programs, and arranging Workshops on composting for Schools and Councils.

Was involved in organising the 2006 Community Gardens Conference, and am working towards establishing a City Farm for Adelaide.

I am currently finishing a project in Leonora, Western Australia, through Indigenous Community Volunteers (www.icv.com.au).  Susie Scott and I are assisting the indigenous community to grow more of their own food, as part of a Diabetes and Kidney Health project.

I will be spending the summer of 2006/2007 working with Permaculture Teachers in southwest Western Australia.   I'm also planning to study a Dip. Ed. and assist schools with developing School Gardens and Permaculture Education."
