Some good pattern resources are:

"The Power of Limits" by Gyorgy Doczi

"Sensative Chaos" by Theodor Schwenk

Anybody have any others?

Cheers,

Tim

Mother nature herself for one, also, to see some very cool patterns look up "trippy patterns" on Google and enjoy!

What about "Pattern Language" by Christopher Alexander, aka the ultimate pattern text.

One of my FAVOURITE books in the whole world,

Bec

Reading "a pattern language" after 6 months at the Trust has given me a greater appreciation for its insights on patterns.

This text identifies impacts of the designed physical environment on natural behavioral patterns.

It is also fascinating now to see how this text lines up with permaculture principles. Specific references to the importance of "edge" are but one example.

I've also just started reading "notes of the synthesis of form" by Christopher Alexander.

This book pre-dates "a pattern language" (by over a decade I think). It is another fabulous pattern resource.

It has some really cool [pattern] graphics at the back. Can't wait to find out what they mean...

I've also taken great delight in the pattern talk of Ubiquity by Mark Buchanan (Orion Books, 2000).

This book explores mathematical "power laws" in various natural phenomena.

This unifying pattern establishes the connection between forest fires and earthquakes, stock market crashes and fashion trends.

A good review can be found on the publishers website:

for you trust folk, this book is in the library located near the works of Ken Wilber.
